Located in the Sai Kung waters east of Hong Kong, Happy Valley Island is known for its crystal clear waters, lush mountain forests and uncarved natural beauty. Boarding the boat from Sai Kung Yards and enjoying the scenery on the boat, it feels like entering an isolated paradise. The water is so clear you can see the bottom, and the occasional small fish swim by makes you want to jump into the water right away. There are two piers on the island, Bridge Island and Half Moon Bay. We landed on the island in Half Moon Bay. Weather Under blue sky and white clouds, the sea took on a fantastic turquoise, and the mountains in the distance covered with lush green trees were refreshing. The reefs and fine sand by the sea make up a serene waterfront picture, with a few red balloons floating in the air adding a bit of liveliness. Upon arriving at the shore, a small sandy beach with rudimentary facilities and a few tourists next to it, with a buoy or two floating on the sea in the distance, seemed particularly serene. The beach, while small, has a pristine setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city for travelers who want to relax and enjoy nature. Along the hiking trail (which takes about an hour), a wider view is displayed after the ascent. Viewed from above, Bridges Island is surrounded by blue-green waters, with small islands and rolling mountains in the distance, the air is fresh and open-minded. Finally, on the other side of Happy Valley Island, I felt the delicate beach and gently lapping waves on the shore up close. The shadows of mountains and boats in the distance added to the poetry of the journey. This trip to Bridge Island was not long, but it was already full of surprises and satisfaction. Whether it’s the clear waters, the dense forests, or the serene atmosphere, it makes me feel the wonder of nature. #HongKong Hiking Countryside
