Hiking at Kiu Tsui – Perfect for Beginners

Hong Kong offers a wide variety of hiking trails, ranging from beginner-friendly to highly challenging. This time, we’re introducing a route from Kiu Tsui Island to Hap Mun Bay Beach. If you walk at a brisk pace, you can complete it within an hour. The scenery along the way is stunning, with views of Hong Kong’s coastline and various mountains. Personally, I find it more manageable to hike from Hap Mun Bay back to Kiu Tsui, as there are fewer stairs, making it ideal for beginners. Additionally, Hap Mun Bay has areas for picnics or barbecues, making it a great spot for hiking and outdoor enthusiasts. Transportation: Take a bus to Sai Kung Pier, then transfer to a small boat heading to Hap Mun Bay or Kiu Tsui Island.
