We previously celebrated Dad’s birthday at "Six Pavilion" and praised the food as amazing 🤭 This time, seeing Chow Sang Sang x Six Pavilion launch the "Perfect Harmony" Mother's Day limited lunch set, I immediately booked a table to bring mom! 🥰 The set menu is inspired by the mandala, which symbolizes happiness and completeness. Each dish is served with mandala patterns—so beautiful! 😍 The first course, "Dim Sum Trio," looks exquisitely presented: 💓 Matsutake Wild Mushroom Winter Melon Dumpling Matsutake combined with various wild mushrooms and river shrimp, offering a tender and smooth texture. 💓 Avocado Shrimp Roll Wrapped in crispy golden rice paper spring roll skin, crunchy on the outside and delicate inside, with a rich texture. It symbolizes a mother’s gentle yet strong resilience. Mom loves crispy food and praised it highly! 😍 💓 Black Cod Roe Siu Mai Handmade siu mai topped with black cod roe, salty and rich in flavor. The second course, "Chuanbei Pear Stewed Snow Goose" Stewed for over four hours, this sweet and lung-nourishing soup is mom’s favorite. After drinking it, the throat feels very comfortable! ☺️ The third course, "Rice Soup with Lily and Amaranth Sprouts" Tender and crisp amaranth sprouts in a delicate, smooth, and naturally sweet broth, garnished with sweet lily bulbs—both nourishing and refreshing. The fourth course, "Shrimp Head Oil Black Pork Char Siu Stir-fried Orzo" Mom immediately asked why the pasta turned into rice 😆 That’s right, because this is Italian orzo rice instead of traditional white rice—very special! The sauce is made from shrimp heads and sakura shrimp, combined with the restaurant’s signature Spanish black pork char siu, making every bite richly flavorful! The fifth course, "Gold Leaf Caviar with Green Sichuan Pepper Fresh Scallops" Half-seared Hokkaido sashimi-grade scallops, tender and sweet. The green Sichuan pepper sauce adds a numbing spice that highlights the scallops’ natural sweetness. Dessert: "Red Bean Pearl Jasmine Milk Pudding" Presented with a dramatic mist effect, visually stunning and surprisingly delicious. Made by infusing jasmine flowers in fresh milk and setting it at low temperature, it’s fragrant and elegant, sweet but not cloying. The top layer’s pearls are handmade from red bean paste, soft and chewy with a bean aroma, layered with smooth red bean paste—sweet but not overwhelming. Mom praised this dessert, saying each pearl has a great texture. The drink is "Starry Night" (non-alcoholic specialty) Topped with gold leaf sparkling like stars, fresh and mildly sweet on the palate. After the meal, there’s a gift!
