"Angel Road" ~ Longsuo Island

At the beginning of the Easter holiday, every district and region is crowded with people. The place we went this time is known as the Hong Kong version of "Angel Road". It has pleasant scenery, beautiful mountains and clear waters, and is easy to walk. It is definitely suitable for a family outing. To go to Cheongsao Island, you can start from Exit A of Sunny Bay MTR Station and walk straight along the seaside promenade for about 25 minutes. At the end of the road, you will see the Luk Keng Village sign with green railings on both sides. Walk forward for about 15 minutes and you will reach Luk Keng Village. Luk Keng Village is home to the very few remaining descendants of fishermen. Sometimes you will see fishermen sorting or repairing their nets nearby, so when passing by or taking pictures of people's residences, remember to keep quiet and do not disturb the local fishermen. There are also convenience stores on the island for short stays and food supplies. You can try the freshly made Acanthopanax chinensis tea fruit by the fishermen. When the tide recedes, the island-linked sandbar will appear on the island, and you can even walk to the nearby Cheung Sau Island. When the tide recedes and the water level drops, the "Hong Kong version of Angel Road" will appear, and Cheung Sau Island will be connected to Luk Keng Village on the opposite bank. Walk to the end of the pedestrian path, follow the steps to the rocky beach, and continue walking along the coast to reach the Cheung Sau Island-linked sandbar.
