We recommend going in the late afternoon and staying until sunset. This way, you get both daytime cityscapes and stunning night views as the skyline lights up. The Peak Tram & First Photo Spot – The Iconic View from Sky Terrace 428 🌆 We explored Victoria Peak by taking the Peak Tram, a classic way to ascend while enjoying a steep and exciting ride. At the top, head straight to Sky Terrace 428 for the most famous panoramic view of Hong Kong. The glass railing ensures a clear shot of the skyline, making it one of the best places to capture the city’s beauty. 📍 Sky Terrace 428 – 128 Peak Road, The Peak, Hong Kong Lugard Road Lookout – A Hidden Gem for Wide-Angle Shots 🌿 We then walked along Lugard Road, a peaceful trail wrapping around the peak. About 20 minutes in, we found the Lugard Road Lookout, which offers a spectacular and less crowded view of the harbor. The overhanging trees frame your shot beautifully, perfect for an Instagram-worthy picture! 📍 Lugard Road Lookout – Start at Lugard Road, The Peak, Hong Kong Lion’s Pavilion – A Classic Hong Kong Shot 🦁 Before heading back down, we stopped by Lion’s Pavilion, right next to The Peak Tower. We would definitely recommend this spot for its traditional Chinese-style architecture and a direct, unobstructed view of the skyscrapers below.
