You can get 9 free incense sticks in the temple, but they often run out, so you can buy them for HKD 10 at the shops outside the temple. The divination sticks are free to take, and you can use your Octopus card to make a donation. There is a fee for divination interpretation. There is also the Good Wish Garden and Yue Heung Shrine in the temple. P.S. It's super crowded on weekends. 2⃣ Nan Lian Garden No. 60 Fung Tak Road, Wong Tai Sin District, Kowloon 🕐7:00–21:00 🚇Kwun Tong Line & Tuen Ma Line, Diamond Hill Station, Exit C2 A rare exquisite green garden in the city. The entire garden is designed in the style of the Tang Dynasty, similar to modern Kyoto, Japan. The garden has a Chinese Timber Architecture Gallery, a Rockery, and the vegetarian restaurant Long Men Lou. Nan Lian Garden is connected to Chi Lin Nunnery across the street, which is a clean, quiet, and elegant Buddhist temple. P.S. Selfie sticks are not allowed in the garden. 3⃣ Choi Hung Estate Ngau Chi Wan, Wong Tai Sin District, Kowloon 🚇10-minute walk from Nan Lian Garden; Kwun Tong Line, Choi Hung Station, Exit C3 or C4 Find the Choi Hung Estate parking lot. You can reach the basketball court on the top of the parking lot from the stairs at any of the four corners. Choi Hung Estate is a public housing estate in Hong Kong, and it has been confirmed that it will be rebuilt in phases starting at the end of 2023, which will take 15 years. Many people come here to take photos. Although the colors are a bit dark, the photos are still great and unique. 4⃣ Ngau Chi Wan Village 🚇Kwun Tong Line, Choi Hung Station, Exit C1 One of the 13 villages in Kowloon, one of the few remaining villages in the city, and a lively market.
