The day began at dawn as we boarded a bus from the city, bound for the starting point of MacLehose Trail Section 3. The crisp morning air carried a quiet sense of anticipation as we set off, winding through lush greenery and undulating terrain. Our first major stop was Sai Wan Pavilion, where the trail opened up to breathtaking coastal views before leading us down to Sai Wan Beach. The golden sands and gently lapping waves felt like an oasis, a serene pause in the midst of our journey. Along the way, we encountered several majestic oxen grazing peacefully in the fields, their massive frames standing out against the wild landscape.
