Polin Monastery

Po Lin Monastery (Polin Monastery) is a sacred lotus temple built in 1924 on top of Po Lin Mountain. It is sacred and highly revered by Hong Kong people. The highlight of the temple is the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, the largest outdoor bronze Buddha statue in the world. Under its base is the Buddha's tooth relic, which was brought from Sri Lanka.
