Another famous Hong Kong egg tart shop that everyone must try is the egg tart from Hashtag B. Today, we went to the Causeway Bay branch. There was no queue, so we could just go in and choose. It’s not far from Bakehouse. We chose two flavors: Napoleon Tart and Pistachio Tart. The tarts here are very large and freshly baked. They’re so delicious! The first flavor is Napoleon Tart. This is the regular one that everyone tries. It’s the original, and it tastes like regular egg tarts, but it has a slight burnt caramel flavor. The egg inside isn’t very sweet, but the bottom of the tart has a layer of caramel to add sweetness. The outer dough is a bit crispy and hard. I personally like eating them hot, which is more delicious than when they’re cool. The second flavor I’d like you to try is the Pistachio Tart, which the shop recently released. It’s so delicious. I personally like this flavor the most. The tart is soft and smooth, and the pistachio flavor is intense in every molecule. The price is more expensive than the first one, each piece costs 30 dollars.
