Chuan Man Ju in Causeway Bay - Sichuan Cuisine～

A friend brought me here to try their grilled fish before, and I remember it was pretty good. So tonight, I brought my family to try some Sichuan dishes. I initially wanted to try their Peking duck, but it was sold out. So we tried the pickled fish and chicken pot instead. The portions were quite large, and just the two pots were enough for three to four people. 《Dry-Fried String Beans》🌶️ $72 This dish was really tasty, with plenty of beans and minced meat that was savory and slightly spicy, making it very appetizing. Perfect with rice 👍🏻 White rice $15 per bowl. 《Fresh Pepper Fish》🌶️$198 Generous portion, the fish was tender, with lots of potato starch to absorb the flavor and sauce. There were also crunchy lotus root slices, making it numbing and spicy, very addictive! 《Half Sichuan-Style Abalone Chicken Pot》* (Non-spicy) $168 There are spice level options, and we chose non-spicy. Overall, it was very flavorful with four large abalones that were tender yet chewy, and plenty of chicken! 《Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake》 $58 Hot, crispy on the outside, and chewy on the inside～ 《Plum Juice》$18 《Sprite》$15 《JDB Herbal Tea (Can)》$15 The total bill with service charge was just under $600, quite worth it.
