Homey Thai Cuisine - Thai Zhong Yi.

Visited Tai Wai today, and found many restaurants in a nearby small village🍽, including a homey Thai restaurant~ Although it's not on the main street, it still has a lot of local customers supporting it💪~ Their charcoal-grilled pork neck was a bit burnt🔥~ But it was really fragrant and delicious, and the portion was generous😍~ I especially loved the sauce, which was slightly sour and cut through the greasiness of the pork neck~ When eating Thai food, you must order stir-fried cabbage sprouts🥬~ The shrimp paste was quite fragrant😋, and the cabbage sprouts were very tender~ However, it would be even better if it was a bit saltier🧂~ Every table had ordered the pineapple fried rice🍍, because the generous amount of pork floss was really appealing🤩~ It was made with fresh pineapple, but it was stir-fried to be very dry~ It also included raisins, squid🦑, and clams, which made it really tasty~ Struggled for a long time between the Tom Yum Goong cream pasta and the traditional Tom Yum Goong soup noodles🤔~ In the end, my mother chose the traditional one~ But the pasta at the next table🍝 looked very tempting~ Their Tom Yum Goong wasn't too spicy, just right for me, with a hint of lemongrass and spices🌱~ For drinks, we chose coconut milk Cendol ice🍸~ It's rare to see Cendol ice in restaurants with added attap seeds, but I personally love it😘~ This small family-run restaurant is quite thoughtful💗~ The food tastes good, and the service is attentive~ Will come back to try their Tom Yum Goong cream pasta next time~ 📍Thai Zhong Yi Ground Floor, 254 Tin Sam Village, Tai Wai
