#Experience Activities Shangyao Folk Cultural Relics Museum～Dough Sculpture Workshop Experience It was my first time to experience using dough to make nostalgic food such as fried rice crackers and tea cakes. It was so fun. Dough modeling (commonly known as flour figurines) is a form of traditional Chinese folk art. Flour is used as the main material. The steamed dough is mixed into different colors and then rubbed, kneaded, cut, and glued to create exquisite products. The master taught us to rub and knead the dough and then use the mold to make fried rice cakes (I think it looks more like mooncakes) 🤣 We added the filling in the middle of the tea cake 🤣 but it couldn’t be seen.
