Tai Lam Chung Reservoir

The way to get to Tai Lam Chung Reservoir can see my other post, if you want to just go up the reservoir then you can actually take a taxi to go directly to the mountainside location, and walk another 10 minutes to get to the reservoir! However it is recommended to start from the transfer station so that you can walk for 30 more minutes with more exercise! Alternatively, you can choose to cycle directly up to the reservoir, because the route up is all concrete roads, from the reservoir all the way to Qiandao Lake is a good option, but be aware of other hikers to avoid danger! The scenery along the way is beautiful, perfect for taking pictures. There are some solar panels built inside the reservoir now. I wonder what they are for?
