Hiking in Big Wave Bay and enjoying the unparalleled sea view

Although the weather was average that day, with dense clouds in the sky, low temperature and strong wind, it did not dampen my determination to hike. I took Citybus 8P from Causeway Bay and got off at Full View Garden. I headed for Siu Sai Wan Promenade and saw the sign for Dragon Leap Trail. I climbed the stairs, passed the Pottinger Hill Country Trail, and reached the Pottinger Hill Observation Deck. In front of me was the blue sea and sky, an extremely vast landscape. In the distance, I could see Siu Sai Wan, Clear Water Bay Peninsula, Tung Lung Chau and Shek O. It was an endless sea view. Go down the mountain towards Big Wave Bay and you will reach the stone steps. You can clearly see the Shek O Golf Course, which looks like a foreign island from a distance. The entire hiking trail from Pottinger Hill to Big Wave Bay only takes about 2 hours. It is easy to hike and a great place to breathe fresh air on holidays!
