Fall in love with blue and green: Admiralty and Ngong Ping Plain

#Hiking route recommendations There are many hiking routes in Hong Kong. Today I would like to recommend a section of the fourth section of the MacLehose Trail. The scenery is very beautiful and it is worth recommending 🔝🙌🏻 The starting point is Shui Lang Wo on Sai Sha Road. There are buses 🚌 to Sha Tin City Centre and Wu Kai Sha. After getting off at Shuilangwo Station, walk a little further and you will see a public toilet. Opposite is the starting point of today's route - Qi BBQ Place. The road is a small uphill concrete road. When you reach Wong Chuk Yeung Village, turn left and start the trail. You will pass through a small bamboo forest at the beginning, and then turn right at the fork. We started the more difficult section 🥾🥾 stone steps, sometimes mountain trails, sometimes concrete stairs, and continued to climb to the southern ridge of Ma On Shan. On the way, we could look up at the majestic and spectacular mountains ⛰ There is a special feature here, that is, there is a wooden self-pointing tripod for hikers to take photos for free, so that you can take selfies when you may not meet other people on the mountain 🤳, so you will not miss the opportunity to fall in love with the blue (sky and sea) and the green (mountains) 🤣 After taking the photos, you can continue to walk to the left ⬅️. Going down and down, you will reach the Bend Mountain. This section is named this way because of the winding mountain road. After that, we walked down a short distance on the mountain road and continued to work hard towards the Big Golden Bell. The Big Golden Bell is 536 meters high and is named Big Golden Bell because of its pyramid-like shape. Warm reminder, the road sections to climb up and down the Admiralty are all floating sand and gravel, which are quite rugged. 🧗‍♀️ Be careful⚠️ After this peak is the Ngong Ping Plain, which is open and windy, and is a good place for paragliding 🪂, camping ⛺️ and watching the sunrise 🌅. There are several exit points in Ngong Ping. If you are tired, 🉑 walk along the Ma On Shan Country Trail for about an hour and return to the Ma On Shan Village Terminal to take the bus back to Ma On Shan. This time, my friend and I chose to walk a little further to Maoping> Meizilin> Fuan Garden to complete this hiking activity✅ This route is recommended because the mountains are special and the scenery is pleasant. The plains are also suitable for a long break or even a picnic. However, remember to take away your own trash when hiking, and protect nature together ⛰😘
