Wander in a century-old house

The Jao Tsung-I Academy has existed as far back as 1887, which means that this building was already there in the 13th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu. From its establishment to its revitalization, this place has gone through many vicissitudes and witnessed every moment of Hong Kong's development from the Qing Dynasty to the British colony. The Hong Kong government has been committed to revitalizing and rating this type of ancient building since the 1920s. Since taking over this century-old house, it has also held related cultural exhibitions and art exhibitions to promote Hong Kong's cultural and artistic activities. Every brick and tile here is well preserved. Although there are traces of history, being here feels like being in another world.
