It is said that Kerry Hotel is one of the sub-brands under the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts group. The Kerry Hotel Hong Kong is located on Hung Luen Road in the Hung Hom district of Kowloon, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is reportedly very close to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Like many luxury hotels in Hong Kong, this hotel also boasts an infinity pool, but the pool is said to be quite small, especially when compared to its sibling, the Rosewood Hong Kong Hotel. However, the hotel differs from other hotels under its parent Shangri-La brand. Shangri-La's properties typically feature beautiful, expansive carpets, but the carpets in the lobby of this hotel are not very large. Instead, the hotel capitalizes on its vast and extensive sea views to gain an advantage. The hotel offers a rare outdoor sea view because it is near one of Hong Kong's harbor piers, and even from the guest rooms, you can see ships continuously sailing nearby. Additionally, in the hotel lobby's lounge area or dining area, you can enjoy a very broad sea view. The hotel rooms have a distinctive feature: the lamps in front of the large beds in the rooms are of different sizes—one particularly large and one of a regular size. Also, the windows that offer a sea view have one pane of glass that is exceptionally large, which makes the view of the sea particularly impressive.
