Hong Kong Off-the-Beaten-Path Family Trip | Enjoy a Perfect Weekend at Hyatt Sha Tin!

Because my best friend used to study at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Sha Tin area was a place I frequented. There's also a nice Hyatt hotel nearby. This weekend, I took my daughter and Fat Sen to experience two nights there. In the precious land of Hong Kong, the hotel emphasizes on 'big', offering a good level of comfort and value for money. 🛏️ The Executive Sea View Suite we stayed in this time is really spacious! Pulling open the curtains reveals a vast sea view, with excellent visibility. Facing the sea, my daughter and I enjoyed a fine afternoon tea together🍰. You must try the hotel's signature Sha Tin honey cake. The bedroom is also quite wide, and adding a small bed for my daughter didn't feel cramped at all. Waking up to the sea view after a comfortable night's sleep is the right way to open up a weekend getaway! 🍃 The hotel's public facilities are also 'big'! The outdoor swimming pool is surprisingly large. There are also outdoor children's play facilities next to the pool, meeting the enjoyment needs of the whole family. The view from the Grand Club Lounge is also fantastic. My membership came with complimentary breakfast, and there's also a happy hour in the evening. No worries about what to eat when bringing kids, the hotel has it all sorted out! Although the Grand Club Lounge is tempting, the buffet dinner is still highly recommended! The freshness and taste of the seafood are quite good, and the chef keeps cooking fresh and exquisite dishes. 🦞 Lobsters, 🦀️ king crabs, and foie gras are all unlimited. Fat Sen, who loves seafood, ate until he had to lean against the wall! The area around the hotel is also very convenient. Just a two-minute walk to the East Rail University Station, and two stops away you can reach the center of Sha Tin🛒. Sha Tin New Town Plaza is as bustling as ever, and the previously renovating Yata Department Store has been renewed, with many fine groceries and toys added. It's proven to be a great place to shop with kids. Going back to Shenzhen is also just a few stations away.
