Among the many bakeries in Hong Kong, a few small shops have exceptional pudding buns. And "Gardona Bakery" is definitely on that list! 😛 ‣ Matcha Red Bean Pudding Bun ($23) It has a rich matcha flavor, a moderate sweetness with a hint of bitterness. It has a soft, glutinous mochi center. A slight reheat creates a runny consistency. 🤩 ‣ Original Pudding Bun ($15) The original pudding bun has a rich eggy flavor, a moderate sweetness, and a smooth texture. Even refrigerated and reheated the next day, it's still delicious. ☺️ The crust is perfectly crispy. 💭 C͟o͟n͟c͟l͟u͟s͟i͟o͟n͟ Comparing the two flavors, I personally think the original flavor is superior. 😝 There was a super long line on a Saturday afternoon. However, both flavors were still available.
