𓊝 A rare Venetian tavern

𓈂 𓈂 When I passed by Jiurufang in Sheung Wan before, I saw an Italian bistro Posso decorated in dark green. The style was romantic and retro. It turns out that the restaurant specializes in Cicchetti from Venice, Italy - small bite-sized appetizers that are perfect with wine. This time I tried their 6 Courses Birthday Week Menu ($350pp), which is also a sharing size, but the advantage is that you can try more dishes. 𓂄 Crostini The crispy skin is paired with duck ciccioli, which is full of duck fat and not too greasy. 𓂄 Chargrilled Octopus (+$55) The chewy octopus is diced and cooked with a spicy butternut squash sauce, which is delicious and refreshing. 𓂄 Casoncelli Guinness oxtail with Casoncelli ravioli and topped with sage butter is a very delicious dish. 𓂄 Bucatini (+$50) Garlic clam anchovy pasta, the pasta is chewy, the sauce is hidden in the pasta, merguez sausage 𓂄 Lamb This lamb chop doesn’t smell at all, probably because it’s cooked in miso glaze sauce. The unique umami flavor of miso balances the greasy smell of lamb, and it’s very well cooked. 𓂄 Cannoli The dessert is Cannoli, a traditional Italian dessert. The crust is made of puff pastry rolled with ricotta, deep-fried and then sprinkled with icing sugar. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the filling is made with osmanthus, which makes it even more fragrant. Cicchetti does not have a specific menu. Venetians point to the glass cabinet, order a few snacks they like, and stand with a glass of wine to eat, drink and chat. There really is this lively atmosphere of drinking and chatting with close friends.
