Intoxicating Sunday Brunch@Supergiant

Sundays should be spent relaxing and comfortable! What I like most is to have a slow brunch on Sundays. Last week, I went to a restaurant in a hotel in Causeway Bay with my friends and enjoyed a Sunday brunch that was very cost-effective in terms of price and food quality. Today, I am going to share this delicious Sunday with you! The restaurant is Supergiant Social Dining & Cocktail Bar located in Mira Moon Hotel in Causeway Bay. We went there today to try the Bartender Brunch which was recently launched. It would be a shame to have brunch without some alcohol! The brunch here costs $198 and you can enjoy a two-hour wine experience, which includes a variety of classic wines and cocktails. If you want to enjoy more, you can spend $398 and in addition to classic wines and cocktails, you can also drink unlimited champagne, which will definitely make everyone have a leisurely, comfortable and tipsy brunch. I was the first to try the blood orange flavored Gin Tonic! The beautiful and elegant pink color is very eye-catching, and driven by alcohol, I am already feeling hungry. This brunch costs $368 per person. You can choose two of the delicious snacks, then choose your favorite dish from the sumptuous main course, and finally choose a dessert. There are three courses with four delicious dishes, which I believe will make everyone very full. It’s easier to get things done with more people, so we can try all 5 appetizers! The first dish to be served is the pickled tuna. The yellowfin tuna is seasoned with citrus fruits and balsamic vinegar. It can be placed on top of the fried fish chips. The combination of the soft and crispy taste with the sour and spicy refreshing flavor is delicious. Asian Seaweed Salad This salad is very rich! The fillings include seaweed, cucumber, tomato, edamame, avocado, radish and bean sprouts. Paired with Japanese salad dressing, it tastes so refreshing and healthy that you can eat a few more bites. The spicy salt and pepper fried squid with fried garlic is very delicious and not greasy at all. It is even more delicious when served with a little Sriracha chili sauce. The crab meat spring rolls are even more delicious when served with sweet and spicy sauce! Don’t forget the fried crabs on the side dish, which are very crispy and delicious and are the finishing touch. The grilled satay skewers with charred chicken and rich satay sauce are very tempting! The pickled radish served as a side dish is also unique, with a sweet and sour taste that is very pleasing to the eye. Grilled Australian lamb rack and Angus beef cheek with jasmine rice (extra $68). As someone who doesn’t eat beef or lamb, I can’t really appreciate it! But seeing them eating with gusto, I believe the quality must be very good. Toasted sourdough bread with avocado spread on it, paired with a poached egg and mixed with Sriracha mayonnaise. It tastes refreshing and a little savory, very attractive. The black pork chops (additional $68) are roasted to perfection with a pink and tender color. The gravy is very rich, and the accompanying miso butter sauce enhances the flavor of the meat a lot! The kimchi served as a side dish was very tasty and I ate quite a bit of it. It was very appealing. The crispy chicken breast in the Japanese Chicken Cutlet Sandwich is tender and not at all chewy. It is mixed with pickled cabbage to add a fresh taste. The crispy bun makes the combination a perfect match. Moonana banana boat contains caramelized bananas, strawberries and ice cream. When eating, pouring mixed berry jam and passion fruit jam on it will make the taste more layered.
