Free admission to the Cantonese Opera Education and Information Centre @ Ko Shan Theatre

The Takayama Theater is located at 77 Takayama Road, Hung Hom, Kowloon. Nestled in Alpine Road Park. The Takayama Theater has a new wing and an old wing. There is a Cantonese opera education and information center on the third floor of the new wing of Takayama Theatre, which is free of charge. The design of the center uses "bamboo" as the main material commonly used in traditional Cantonese opera studios, which understatedly echoes the Chinese-style window decoration in the lobby of the new wing, fully showing the strong characteristics of modern Chinese architectural style. Many people come here to take pictures on the exterior wall. The Cantonese Opera Education and Information Center is divided into six areas: Historical Traces Area, Famous Actors Area, Script, Singing and Music Area, Cantonese Opera Makeup Area, Virtual Stage Area and Reading and Listening Area. Presenting the essence of traditional Cantonese opera art, we strive to emphasize both education and interest, so that visitors can have more direct contact and in-depth understanding of Cantonese opera, and arouse everyone's interest in Cantonese opera. The Takayama Theater is located in Takayama Road Park. The park does not have basic facilities, including a children's playground, a fitness park for the elderly, and Tai Chi Plaza. And walking back out of the stairwell along the park, I saw many displays about Cantonese opera.
