A place where aircraft regularly take off and land

#hongkongtrip Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre ๐Ÿ‘Œ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘‰The construction of Hong Kong International Airport was one of the most stunning engineering projects of the 20th century - see the captivating National Geographic documentary 'Extreme Engineering - the making of HK International Airport" to get a feeling of what was achieved here in under seven years of construction: levelling of two small islands off Lantau to create one articificial island for the airport - Chek Lap Kok; construction of the North Lantau link, the Kwai Ciung expressway, the airport express link; the Western Harbour Tunnel and of course Tsing Ma Bridge and the huge terminal building. And moving the old airport from Kai Tak to Chek Lap Kok in one night on 6 July 1998 - amazing. Hong Kong Intenrational Airport is one of the greatest airports in the world, and we again and again appreciate its modern design and efficiency every time we fly in. The exhibition Centre is quite far from the airport, but probably for a cause - from it , you can see almost all components of this giant project: Tsing Ma Bridge, the North Lantau link, party of the other bridges and expressways leading towards Kowloon and of course the airport. ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ›ซ Location : Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre, 401 Castle Peak Rd - Ting Kau, Ting Kau ๐Ÿ“ŒAccessibility description ๐Ÿ‘‰Tuesday to Friday (10:00 am to 5:00 pm) Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (10:00 am to 6:30 pm) The center is open as usual on public holidays (including Mondays listed as public holidays), except for New Year's Day, Chinese New Year and Christmas holidays. ๐Ÿ“ŒHow to get there : ๐Ÿ‘‰From Tsuen Wan West Station, take bus 234B to the exhibition center. There is a ramp at the entrance. There are stone steps and a lift at the entrance of the exhibition center. Wheelchair friends can call: 2491-9202 to open the lift.

Avenue of Stars HK

#voyagevibes My first day in Hong Kong started from the airport. I flew direct from Osaka and I had to get to the hotel, which was in the Tsim Sha Tsii area, by the way, if you are looking for inexpensive accommodation, this is one of the best options, the main thing is to find the right option for you. ๐Ÿ“Œ From Hong Kong airport you can get to the city by bus๐Ÿš metro๐Ÿš‡ and taxi๐Ÿš– The most budget option is a bus, you can buy a ticket at the box office after leaving the airport, which is what I did and went to the city. Having arrived at the place and getting off at my stop, I dropped my things in the room and went for a walk, started with the famous and beautiful embankment and walked the Avenue of the Stars from beginning to end! I spent the evening just walking along the embankment, the views here are just crazy!!! #hongkong The embankment offers a magnificent view of Victoria Peak and the embankment, and you can also enjoy the view of traditional ships with a red sail, and later visit one of the many shopping centers. #hongkongtrip
