Impressions after visiting Lisheng Primary School

After World War II, the population of Western District increased day by day and education was in high demand. The late businessman Lee Po Chun donated money and built Lee Chung Primary School at the junction of Pok Fu Lam Road and High Street in 1954 with his father Lee Chung (the richest man in the early days of Hong Kong). What impressed me the most was that on the slope of this inverted triangle, except for Lee Chung Primary School, part of the school building is used by the Department of Health's Western District Dental Clinic, and some classrooms extend below the pedestrian walkway, which can be said to be a combination of practicality and versatility. Also the previous learning environment was not ideal: relatively noisy and air-conditioned, there are many outstanding alumni, former Police Commissioner Xu Qi-an is one of them.
