Enjoy the view of Victoria Harbour and stroll along the Central and Western District Promenade

The Central and Western District Promenade in Central was crowded with people during the recent visit of the Yellow Duck. In fact, on weekdays, there are not too many people here. Most of the people who come here are citizens who come for jogging and the occasional tourists. It is a good place to enjoy the view of Victoria Harbour and take a quiet walk. The Central section extends from Tim Mei Avenue in the east to Central Pier 8 in the west and is connected to Tamar Park in the south. It has quite complete facilities. There are pet parks, plazas, snack kiosks, fishing facilities, park benches, rain shelters and toilets; there are also some interactive art installations and park furniture created by students from local universities and colleges. In the afternoon, when the sun is not so strong, it is a good time to take a walk on the beach. Spend half an hour strolling along the approximately two-kilometre-long Central section, or sit on the lawn of Tamar Park and quietly enjoy the sunset view of Tsim Sha Tsui across the river. #LocalTourism #HongKongGoodDestinations
