Art and Culture Museum

Today I went to Tai Kwun, located at 10 Hollywood Road, Central, to watch a special performance that traveled around the museum. It turns out that Tai Kwun is a complex of buildings in Hong Kong that combines historical sites and art museums. By integrating art into cultural heritage, the park creates new and diverse experiences for the public, inspiring their interest in and exploration of contemporary art, performing arts and even community history. It is a cultural and leisure landmark where everyone can enjoy a pleasant time. The three major statutory monuments in Tai Kwun, including the former Central Police Station, Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison, have been restored to the highest standards to preserve their authenticity. The complex also includes two new buildings, the Jockey Club Arts Centre and the Jockey Club Cube, designed by the renowned architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron, as well as outdoor spaces such as the Parade Square, the Prison Yard and the Laundry Steps. Tai Kwun continues to host various programmes and activities in these distinctive venues to enrich the artistic and cultural life of residents and tourists. There are historical relics everywhere in Tai Kwun, which is also a great place to check in. This time, we followed the performance and walked around the Tai Kwun. We were even able to enter some areas that are usually not accessible to the public. It felt very novel and interesting!
