This April, Chanel will hold the exhibition “CHANEL – a journey into the allure” with Hong Kong as its first stop worldwide. A deconstructed glamour journey "Allure of Chanel" was launched, with 38 looks on display, using the costumes designed by Ms. Gabrielle Chanel for the characters in the film "Last Year at Marienbad" directed by Alain Resnais and the 2023 Spring/Summer fashion series designed by Virginie Viard to create a glamour journey through the past and the future. I was fortunate enough to visit the site and walked into the corridor leading to the exhibition hall. The extremely dark environment highlighted the collage of photos taken by the photography duo Inez & Vinoodh of brand ambassador Kristen Stewart. Every step you take is like walking through a black and white film, being drawn by the "charm" of Ms. Gabrielle Chanel. The on-site styling fully brought out the Chanel style elements, including suits, black and white, military style, little black dresses and evening gowns.
