Ma Shi Chau Geopark - Enjoy the geological wonders and stunning sea views

Ma Shi Chau is a small island in Tolo Harbour in Tai Po District. Ma Shi Chau is connected to Yim Tin Tsai by a sandbar! Get off at Sam Mun Tsai New Village and drive for 30 to 40 minutes to reach the entrance of Ma Shi Chau! Ma Shi Chau is known as the "outdoor geological museum". The 1.5-kilometre-long nature trail located on the southeast coast of the island introduces the island's ancient sedimentary rocks and various geological phenomena. Therefore, it is listed as a World Geopark by UNESCO! Throughout the journey, you can see a variety of special rock shapes and colors! You can also see the unparalleled sea view near Tolo Harbour and the entire Ma On Shan in the distance! This time we had a special mission, which was to clean up the garbage in the mountains.
