Kowloon Bay｜Sichuan Office｜Large-portion Sichuan cuisine

I usually like Sichuan cuisine. Recently, a new one opened in Kowloon Bay, so I decided to go there for lunch 😚. The shop is located on the ground floor of Amoy Gardens and the decoration environment is quite stylish. The red and blue decorations create a sharp contrast, and the mixed Chinese and Western styles feel stylish🙈. - Orders are placed by scanning a QR code here, and the food can be ordered at different levels of spiciness, so the taste is more popular. The food is moderately priced and the portion is big for the price. During lunch time, set meals are the main option, and you can choose rice or wide noodles with your meal, and hot drinks are also provided. - ▪︎Grilled Qingjiang fish with pickled cabbage in golden soup HKD$308 The restaurant’s signature dish is grilled fish. If you don’t want something too spicy, choose the pickled cabbage flavor. The original fish is more flavorful when opened, the meat is tender and boneless, and it has a hint of cumin powder and feels fragrant🤤. The soup base is golden in color, and I ordered it slightly spicy so it’s not too spicy. - ▪︎Chongqing Maoxuewang HKD$73 This dish is rich in ingredients, including duck blood, large intestine, quail eggs, noodles, etc. Quail eggs are special in that they have a semi-runny texture😗. Duck blood is easy to pick up and does not fall apart, and has a chewy feel just like large intestine. The noodles are chewy and the taste is spicy but not salty. - ▪︎Boiled Frog HKD$D62 The portion of frog is quite big, the meat is tender and tasty🤤, and the doneness is just right without feeling tough. This is also served with noodles. There are many varieties, so I ordered a few this time😆. The large intestine and tripe are covered with sauce, which is quite chewy and spicy.
