Ghost Hand Rock is one of the oldest rocks in Hong Kong and is about two meters high. An alluvial plain and delta were formed here about 400 million years ago, and after a long period of geological action, horizontal rock layers were formed. Fractures and joints appear during the violent movement of the earth's crust; weathering and water erosion form "fingers" along the joints, and ocean waves continuously erode the bottom of the rock to form "wrists". This rock has attracted much attention due to its peculiar shape. After becoming famous, the fingers of the ghost hand have become shorter and shorter, and fewer and fewer.
