Brave the Peaks of West Gouya

If you are used to hiking and want to take on a more difficult challenge, you can try a mountain that requires the use of both hands and feet, and that is Xigouya. Friends who think they have experience, skills, physical fitness and are not afraid of heights may want to give it a try. Take bus No. 11 or 23 in Tung Chung and get off in front of Shek Pik Reservoir Dam. Walk along the Shek Pik Country Trail for about an hour and you will see the entrance to Xigouya. You need to use your hands and feet to climb the mountain. Along the way, you can enjoy the stone wall pond. After crossing a few peaks, you can look back and see tooth-shaped peaks, which is very interesting. After climbing over the Yama Wall, you will reach Chan Chai Au, then go down the stone steps to Ngong Ping Village and take bus No. 23 back to Tung Chung. On the way back, I felt encouraged when I thought about how I had successfully challenged a difficult mountain!
