Yuk Kwai Shan is conveniently located near Lei Tung Village on Ap Lei Chau. Take the MTR South Island Line to Lei Tung Station and start your hike! At 196 meters, Yuk Kwai Shan is the highest peak in Ap Lei Chau! This route starts near the Lei Tung Village bus stop, climbs Yuk Kwai Shan, and looks for the landmark! Then, descend Yuk Kwai Shan via a gravelly slope, passing the island sandbar and Ap Lei Pai, where you can admire the lighthouse and sea views before returning. Although Yuk Kwai Shan isn't particularly high, the ascent and descent, as well as the road conditions, are quite challenging. It's best to research your ascent and descent and find a guide with extensive hiking experience. It's recommended to bring gloves and hiking shoes.
