AVENUE OF STARS

The Avenue of Stars (Chinese: 星光大道), modelled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is an avenue located along the Victoria Harbour waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. It honours celebrities of the Hong Kong film industry. In 1982, the New World Group built a promenade along the waterfront around the New World Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon. In 2004, the Group announced it would spend HK$40 million to build the Avenue of Stars, a project supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Tourism Commission, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government and the Hong Kong Film Awards Association. #avenueofstars #explorehongkong

#voyagevibes My first day in Hong Kong started from the airport. I flew direct from Osaka and I had to get to the hotel, which was in the Tsim Sha Tsii area, by the way, if you are looking for inexpensive accommodation, this is one of the best options, the main thing is to find the right option for you. 📌 From Hong Kong airport you can get to the city by bus🚍 metro🚇 and taxi🚖 The most budget option is a bus, you can buy a ticket at the box office after leaving the airport, which is what I did and went to the city. Having arrived at the place and getting off at my stop, I dropped my things in the room and went for a walk, started with the famous and beautiful embankment and walked the Avenue of the Stars from beginning to end! I spent the evening just walking along the embankment, the views here are just crazy!!! #hongkong The embankment offers a magnificent view of Victoria Peak and the embankment, and you can also enjoy the view of traditional ships with a red sail, and later visit one of the many shopping centers. #hongkongtrip
