[Time Travel | Pseudo-British Journey] Here, it feels like time travel. Westport City, formerly the North Building of the old Sheung Wan Market, is now listed as a statutory monument and is the oldest market building in Hong Kong. The structure belongs to the English Edwardian architectural style, which was very popular in England between 1901 and 1910. The ground floor has a British-style phone booth and a taller nutcracker, which is great for taking pictures. Next to the escalator, there’s a nostalgic pound. Once upon a time, there was a weighing machine in the cinema, where money was deposited and exited to show weight. I wonder if any of you have seen it? This kind of scale is almost extinct in theaters. And the first floor is like a floral fabric street, filled with all sorts of fabrics.
