Tai Wai Cozy Cafe

Amid controversy, Tai Wai's casual, hipster-friendly cafe Cozy Cafe in Tai Wai has always received many different opinions on different food review websites. A friend just suggested that we give it a try, so I came here out of curiosity. First of all, its interior and exterior design tells us that it follows the currently popular leisurely and hipster style: a pure white two-storey house, a row of high stools outside the door on the basement floor, a coffee machine near the cash register, and a large window near the window on the upper floor, which is convenient for diners to enjoy the view and take photos. However, since it is not a cafe located on the coast, whether you sit indoors or outdoors, you will have to watch people and cars on the road. However, the environment is quite comfortable. As for food, we ordered several dishes, including the Carbonara pasta, which was topped with a thick layer of fried cheese. It was quite crispy and not greasy when you bite it. The pasta was hot enough and tasted normal. The other one is the coffee-marinated salmon bagel, which is a dish that takes quite a lot of effort. The overall feeling is that the salmon is fresh, but the coffee flavor is not enough and there is a little too much sauce. In addition to the main course, we also ordered a dessert, Affogato. The ice cream is smooth, but not much like Gelato. The coffee is hot enough and is slowly poured over the ice cream, melting it. It is sweet with a hint of bitterness, and the combination of cold and hot gives it a rich taste. However, if you want a leisurely and hipster style, you should pay more attention to the attitude of the service. Because when diners come in, they not only buy the environment and the food, they definitely hope that the first staff they meet can take them into a carefree state. Therefore, don’t just focus on passing menus, collecting cash and handing out cutlery.
