It's close to the Tsim Sha Tsui East waterfront and K11 MUSEA shopping mall, and boasts excellent transportation links, including MTR stations 🚉 and buses 🚌 to various destinations. It's very convenient and functional. ———————————————————————————— Check-in Procedure: Fill out the application form using a tablet. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. A deposit of NT$2,500 is required for each room upon check-in, and can be used to hold the balance on a credit card. ———————————————————————————— Prevention and Control Measures: All guests are required to have their temperature taken and wear masks when entering and exiting the restaurant and hotel areas. ———————————————————————————— Room Amenities: Bed Type: Deluxe Room with a King Bed I once again celebrated our anniversary at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kowloon. We visit every year, and this year was no exception. For a five-star hotel, the room amenities are quite comprehensive. I particularly appreciated the inclusion of a three-prong cable attached to the work surface, making it convenient for guests without a power cord. There's also a JBL Horizon Speaker that serves as a clock and music player. The hotel 🏨 provides shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, two toothbrush sets, a comb, and even moisturizer. They even have hair elastics for ladies. After checking in, the guest relations team presented us with a bouquet of fresh roses 🌹💐. Thank you so much 🙏🏽, what a thoughtful gesture! Just as I was enjoying my coffee ☕️ in the room, the doorbell rang. It turned out to be... [The text then abruptly shifts topics.] A bottle of baijiu 🍷 and heart-shaped chocolate 🍫 were delivered in an ice bucket, along with a handwritten card from the guest relations team. What a pleasant surprise and thoughtful 🎉🥳 Pros: 1. The room is spacious, a full 42 square meters, enough for two people to relax. 2. Modern design, including a three-outlet cable 🔌 and a JBL spectrometer. 3. The service has always been attentive, with complimentary chocolate 🍫 and baijiu 🍷 every year. 4. There's a CitiZ coffee machine in the room ☕️ with three different strength Nescafé coffee pods, so you can chill and enjoy. 5. As always, welcome tea and fruit were served upon arrival 🍎 6. Several varieties of their homemade Shangri tea bags were provided, adding a touch of elegance. 7. After shopping, when we arrived in Paris, someone already had the bed open (lifted up the corners) and gave us a small bookmark 🔖 as a souvenir 🎁 Cons: 1. The TV 📺 had a lot of channels, but the reception was a bit blurry and the picture quality was low. 2. It would have been nice to have a bathroom heater with both cooling and heating, so we wouldn't be too cold or too hot. Due to the recent cold weather, the room felt chilly. 3. Perhaps due to the hotel's age, the room phone 📞 doesn't work directly with the concierge/front desk. You have to call the Horizon Club/in-room dining area and then be transferred, which is a bit inconvenient.
