Are there bandit chickens in the dumpling world?

One of the reasons I came to Cheung Chau was to try this place. As a huge fan of bandit chicken wings, I saw this dumpling shop offer something similar, so I decided to give it a try even in Cheung Chau! 😆 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 ✨Black and White Bandit Chicken Dumplings ($49 with soup) 🥟 I think it's a near-perfect replica of Tam Tsai Sam's bandit chicken wings. The wrappers are crispy and topped with black and white sesame seeds and cumin powder. The only thing I felt was that the wrappers weren't thin enough, and because the filling was chicken, the pork flavor wasn't quite as rich. ✨Hot and Sour Soup The hot and sour soup wasn't a big surprise. The sour and spicy flavors weren't strong enough. A little more intensity would have been appreciated. 👍 ✨Cold Shredded Chicken Vermicelli Wing Salad ($39) A cold treat is always a must in the hot summer. The shredded chicken and cucumber are generous portions. 👍 And, most importantly, the sesame sauce.
