Tsim Sha Tsui is located in the heart of Kowloon Peninsula. The area of Tsim Sha Tsui and its surroundings is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hong Kong. “East-meet-West” - this is definitely about Tsim Sha Tsui. It has completely different vibe from Hong Kong Island! So if you are staying in Hong Kong Island during your visit it is inperative that you take the Star ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui. It is far more touristy and commercial. There you will find countless shops, hotels of all prices and many restaurants. Tsim Sha Tsui is very close to Victoria Harbour and Avenue of Stars. There are also so many museums around that area. Just opposite the Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry locates the Hong Kong’s biggest and largest shopping mall – Harbour City, which is the favorite of the shopaholics and fashionistas. In short there is a bit of everything in Tsim Sha Tsui. I stayed there many times and always finding something new to do. Tsim Sha Tsui is served by three metro lines.
