Izzue Lobster (CWB)

👋🏻 Any lobster roll fans out there? After the closure of Lobster Central, it’s been quite hard to find a conveniently located grab-and-go stand serving the iconic New England lobster roll in HK 😢 Imagine my joy when discovering @IZZUE LOBSTER by @izzue_market right beside Flippers in @hysanplace.itblueblock 🥳 With just an open kitchen, cashier and standing corner, everything about the small space oozes quality - the tasteful decor, branded ingredients (that you can buy for your kitchen) and made-to-order dishes. The only snag was that there were only 2 options on the menu to choose from, but I guess we can rest assured that they really know what they’re doing 🤓 [𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥] Using succulent lobster meat from Cozy Harbor of Maine and toasted fresh bread from @breadelements, what stood out to my taste buds in the first bite was the bright bold flavor of the finely diced celery. Squeezing the juice of the lemon wedge really enhanced both the lobster roll as well as the crispy salted potato chips on the side with a refreshing lightness 😍 [𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥] Although you probably can’t tell the difference just by looking at the two sets, it’s hard to miss the aromatic truffle scent and pungent taste from the @trufflehunterhk black truffle oil poured onto the lobster roll and the @lukes_organic white truffle & sea salt potato chips. Talk about truffle overload 🤩 [𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐞 / 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐞] Both of the sets come with fizzy lemonade in either original or passion fruit flavor.
