Holiday Inn Express is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, near K11 and many restaurants, and the transportation is very convenient. We arrived at 2 o'clock early, but the check-in time was still quite long. There were many guests but only two counters were open. The front desk clerk was very friendly, but there was a problem of staff shortage. The room has two double beds, which is not too crowded for a family of four. There is no bathtub. If you want a bathtub, you can ask the front desk. There are not many and it is not guaranteed to be available. It is recommended to reserve it with the hotel before check-in. The rooms are all decorated with a space theme, and there are astronaut suits that you can wear to take photos, which is very eye-catching! However, the space suit is larger in size and is suitable for children over six years old. The pillows were, as expected, very thin, affecting the quality of sleep, and the plush leather-padded sheets required the air conditioning to be turned up high to avoid being too hot. The outdoor swimming pool is on the top floor, and you need to climb more than ten stairs. There is no view and it is not very nice. You need to walk-in to register, so you will leave immediately after picking up the room. However, there is no clear limit on the number of people, and basically everyone is welcome. The swimming pool has a deep water area, which is crowded with people and only suitable for children to dip in the water. This time I stayed here to celebrate my younger brother's birthday. It was my first time to staycation and swim with him. I didn't expect too much for the price, and the two brothers had a good time. As for food, the hotel is very close to Ichiran Ramen 🍜. As a die-hard fan, of course I have to support it! The hotel is a 2-minute walk away. There is a counter design where children can sit comfortably. At that time, preferential members can add free noodles (noodle base), plus free children's ramen, which is an all-you-can-eat ramen, which is very satisfying. The hotel includes executive club breakfast and evening cocktails. The number of people is limited during limited time periods, so there won't be many people. The food quality is average and there are not many choices. Only the coffee is quite special. The 500 yuan dining credit can be used for in-room dining. We ordered three meals. We called the room phone several times before someone answered, and the call got an error message. It took a long time for the food to be delivered and collected, and the staff were so busy that they couldn't catch their breath. The 3D cake in the check-in package doesn’t look appealing, but it tastes good. In summary, the theme room design is very good and the staff are polite. It's just that there are crowds during the summer vacation and they are short-staffed. Everyone should be mentally prepared and don't have too high expectations for the food.
