Renaissance Hoi An Luckily, we were finally able to arrange a trip where all three families could stay together in a 3-bedroom villa like this — it was perfect! Morning beach swims, afternoon spa, BBQ dinners — hehe, with a private chef taking care of everything. It really felt like royalty in Hoi An! The master bedroom was on the ground floor — just one step to the beach and the infinity pool! But my favorite room was the bedroom upstairs on the second floor. It had a small balcony, and although the bathroom wasn’t huge, it was surrounded by lots of windows, so the room felt full of life and energy. I know the main lobby also has a huge infinity pool — it’s beautiful and grand — but our villa also had a private pool that wasn’t any less impressive. So over our 2-night stay, our whole group just lounged around on the bed, walked right out to the beach, and jumped into the pool to relax. Eating breakfast by the pool was such a vibe. Every now and then, it’s great to treat ourselves to a lazy trip like this and truly enjoy the place. Honestly, the restaurant space wasn’t the most glamorous, but the food? Easily a 10 out of 10. No kidding! The buffet had so many dishes, and every single one suited our taste. The fruit and dessert bar was a lover’s dream. Every day we ate until we were stuffed — even got 100 calls from the fitness trainer afterwards 😂. The resort also has a gym, two tennis courts, and free bikes so you can stay active and work off the indulgence. After 2 nights at Renaissance, all 3 families were more than satisfied. We truly enjoyed our time and didn’t want to leave the resort. But if anyone wants to go to the Old Town to walk around or explore, just let the reception know — they’ll arrange a shuttle bus to take you right into the city center.
