Cha Tam Church - Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

This beautiful church was built in the 19th century. The sad events of the times of the civil coup are connected with it. In 1963, the disgraced President Ngo Dinh Diem and his brother, who fled from the presidential palace, tried to hide in the temple. However, the church turned out to be an unreliable hiding place - they were captured and killed. Now a memorial plaque has been erected at this place in the church.
