A large clock is prominently displayed on the front, with lively expressions of angels crowned with laurel leaves. Below the clock, the construction period of this central post office (1986-1891) is inscribed, and under the white decorations, the names of the French architects involved in the construction are engraved. Vietnam, which was under French rule for more than half a century, retains various French-style buildings such as churches, theaters, and mansions built during that time. Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City), which was the center of colonization in the southern region, is particularly filled with masterpieces. The "Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Building," the "Municipal Theater (Opera House)," and the "Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon" are representative examples.
