A place that makes you rethink the importance of peace: 'Peace Memorial Park'

When you get off the streetcar at 'Atomic Bomb Dome-mae' from Hiroshima Station, you can see the Atomic Bomb Dome right in front of you. I visited around 8 AM, and there were already many tourists, including foreigners and student groups. It is a must-visit place for Japanese people as well when sightseeing in Hiroshima. The park is very spacious, well-maintained, and includes the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Bell, Cenotaph, and a museum within its grounds. (The museum admission is 200 yen for adults) It is also famous for the beautiful cherry blossoms that bloom along the river in spring.
