Hikone Castle Plum Grove

Besides the super popular Cherry Blossom 🌸 that most will travel to Japan around end March/early April, there's also the beautiful Plum/Ume Blossom in Japan which bloom around February/March period. Hikone Castle too has a plum grove in the castle area which usually blooms around mid to end March. We were there around early mid March, & the 400 over pink/white plum blossoms in the Plum Grove were almost near full bloom. It was so amazing and beautiful. Walking through the Plum Grove was simply a lovely and pretty sight, and definitely a must-visit.
