|Visit a brick pagoda from the Song dynasty. Daxiang Temple Pagoda was built in the Song dynasty and was originally part of Daxiang Temple. The temple was destroyed during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, but the pagoda still stands. The pagoda is 13 stories tall and about 30 meters high, and is a square brick pagoda with dense eaves. The first story has a dougong (bracket) under the eaves, which is a rare design in similar buildings. There is an arched door on the west side of the first story. Inside, you can see a square courtyard made of blue bricks and a blurred Buddha niche on the wall. The top of the pagoda's central room is a dome made of bricks, with six layers forming a pyramid-shaped "treasure cover." The first, third, and fifth layers are decorated with five diamond-shaped teeth, while the other layers are flat bricks. The pagoda you see now has been restored. Before restoration, the pagoda was tilted to the northeast, with a vertical tilt angle of 3.51°.
