Qingshan Scenic Area

Chifeng Qingshan Scenic Area is located on the southeastern edge of the Greater Khingan Range, and is an important park of the Keshiketeng World Geopark. The scenic area covers an area of more than 30 square kilometers, with the highest peak at 1574 meters. The mountain rocks formed by granite have formed a variety of geological wonders through the Quaternary glacial movement. The entire Qingshan is full of peaks and ridges, with peaks rising one after another, continuous, jagged, piercing the sky, majestic and spectacular, like a huge natural barrier, standing proudly among the mountains. The Qingshan mountain body is clearly divided into soil and stone. The sunny side of the mountain and both sides of the valley are all exposed rocks, while the shady side of the mountain is covered with green trees and lush flowers and plants. The front mountain is steep, with a vast and majestic atmosphere, showing a masculine spirit; the back mountain is sloping and gentle, showing a feminine beauty. Qingshan has 'three absolutes': divine stones, peak forests, and rock mortars; and 'three wonders': sparse forests, meadows, and streams. Among them, Qingshan Divine Stone is the pictographic stone of Qingshan Scenic Area, with 24 famous landscapes; Qingshan Peak Forest has peaks rising one after another, some of which are thousands of feet high, and some stand alone; Qingshan Rock Mortar is on the surface of the granite of the main peak of Qingshan, there is a large group of rock mortars. Experts and scholars believe that the scale of Qingshan Rock Mortar is large, the types are diverse, and the shape is good, which is rare at home and abroad, and can be called a 'world wonder' and 'unique in the world'. In addition, the Qingshan sparse forest landscape is also very characteristic, the birch forest and purple birch forest are very beautiful, and there are poplar trees, Mongolian oak (vegetable tree) pentagonal maple, etc. Every early summer, the green grass and blue sky, pear blossoms like snow, and rhododendrons are red, which makes people feel relaxed and happy, and forget to return; in late autumn, the maple leaves are like dan, the birch is golden, the forest is dyed, and the colors are colorful. Various wild fruit trees are full of fruits, and the scenery is charming.
