[Helsinki🇫🇮] Arrival day spent around Central Station✈︎

Here's a plan for exploring around the central station when you're tired from a flight and jet lag. On the day of arrival, we recommend wandering around the central station to recover from jet lag and enjoy the next day! ① Helsinki Central Station (photos 2 and 3) First of all, Helsinki Central Station. It's relatively compact compared to Tokyo for a station in the capital. There's a tram running right in front of the station, so you can immediately encounter a European atmosphere. I personally found Finland's national railway VR interesting. The logo was so similar to JR that I couldn't help but take a photo. The best part of traveling is finding even the most unexpected things interesting! 😂 ② Main street near the central line (photos 1 and 4) A slightly larger street that appears when you leave the station and go to the right. There are trams running here as well, and the combination with the surrounding Western-style buildings creates a very stylish atmosphere. The first photo was taken at 8:30pm! The days are long in Scandinavia from May onwards, so you can enjoy sightseeing until the evening. You might lose track of time and suddenly realize it's 9pm😉 ③Stockman (6th photo) A Finnish department store. It may be too early to go on the first day, but it's a great place for shopping lovers as you can enjoy shopping🛍️ Of course, you can get Finnish souvenirs! There is also a supermarket in the basement, so I recommend getting Finnish sweets there!! Also, when you think of Finland, you think of Marimekko and Moomin🤍 Be sure to buy some Finnish souvenirs and share your travel memories with everyone☺️ ④Helsinki National Theatre (5th photo) A theater in the square to the right of Helsinki Central Station. It's not a particularly striking building in terms of decoration, but it's the oldest theater in Finland, so it feels like it's standing there solidly. It is in the Art Nouveau style, and it has a bit of a castle-like feel. Railway Square is right in front of the theater. I recommend buying a coffee at the cafe and relaxing.
