Wall climbing and bouldering in Helsinki

In Salmisaari, Helsinki, inside the office complex that once was part of a coal-powered power plant before being abolished (just next to the where the motorway 51 and within walking distance from Ruoholahti metro station) is located undoubtedly the best wall climbing hall in Helsinki. Actually there’s much more inside the same building too, it’s a full scale sports complex. There’s a full fitness center, a few restaurants and even an ice hall. But wall climbing and bouldering, that’s what I like. Inside the climbing center, the highest walls are even as high as 29 meters. There are suitable walls for all skill levels, self-securing or secured by another qualified climber. At the second floor, there’s a nice bouldering hall for all skill levels - also children. That hall also has some easier walls to climb so it’s very suitable for beginners and families. So if you are in Helsinki and want to take everything out of your body, don’t hesitate to try wall climbing in Salmisaari.
