Hanoi Walking Guide

Hanoi gives us a vibe similar to Tainan 🤣. The first stop was Tran Quoc Pagoda, but we didn’t check the opening hours and found out it was closed for lunch, so we just took a photo at the entrance and left. We then took a Grab ride to enjoy some steamed rice rolls. After that, we started walking, passing by many Michelin-recommended restaurants along the way. Our next stop was Dong Xuan Market. The market is huge and has a strong local atmosphere, but since we didn’t plan to shop, we just took a quick stroll and left. Then we arrived at the Old Quarter, specifically the 36 Streets area. We didn’t quite understand the charm of this place, maybe because we didn’t do enough research beforehand? Gradually, we made our way to the Old Town area, where we visited St. Joseph’s Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake. Walking along Hoan Kiem Lake, we spotted a large, beautiful, all-white Uniqlo store. It’s a great place to take a break, enjoy some air conditioning, and browse around. Afterward, we continued walking to the Hanoi Opera House, which exudes a foreign and exotic vibe. Walking through the streets of Hanoi, you not only feel the strong Vietnamese atmosphere but also experience the chaotic and terrifying traffic. Crossing the streets here is a real challenge 🤣.
