According to the legend, a white dog was born in Co Phap area, foretelling the ascension of King Ly Cong Uan, and two characters of the character "heaven" appeared on the dog's body. This event is connected to the birth of the king, so the king built a temple to honor this dog. The temple was initially built on an island in Truc Bach Lake and still exists there today. The temple has been restored in the architectural style of the Ly Dynasty, and is particularly characterized by sculptures related to dogs.
